You ever get the feeling that you are running against a brick wall and nothing is changing? I get that way a lot when I bother to stop and surf the net, read articles and posts on this site and others. A lot of it really makes me shake my head and wonder when the world moved on and humanity lost it’s ability to stand proud.

Why not Buddhist, Christian, Baptist or one of the many other religions? Why did I have to pick a path that I knew was going to be filled with obstructions that society has taken hundreds of years to build?

Let's face it, most of the younger practitioners are book taught. Since eight out of ten new practitioners will be solitarians, they will be learning from varied sources, mostly books.

Came across this statement recently, and I sat for a moment dumbfounded. Then I started to giggle. Here was someone who felt that after two months of study, they felt that they were a seasoned practitioner. Oh how my sympathy goes out to them...

One of the old WPR users fractured off, went off and made their own site and has collected a lot of the "problem children" of the WPR. No biggy, happens at least once a year. About the only thing that is annoying of collecting the refuse of the WPR, is I get reports back about how "DC slamming sessions" are a norm, or current members are playing "secret agent" to recruit more users for this site while talking trash about what a tyrant I am.

And suddenly another pagan website is born. Years ago when I first made my first pagan related website, I could only find about thirty sites to which I could direct my visitors to.

Seems like everyone today is looking for a shortcut. A shortcut to make money, a shortcut for love, a shortcut to get even with someone, and even shortcuts to forget about someone.
