WPR Newsletters : WPR Newsletters: Witch/Pagan Resources 2007 Spring Gathering
WPR Newsletters The Witch/Pagan Resources would like to invite one and all the Spring 2007 Witch/Pagan Resources Meet and Greet.

When

We personally will be rolling in the evening of March 16th and will be staying till the early evening of March 18th.

Costs

Daily Access:
Per Vehicle (1 -4 Adults): $6.00

Camp Sites:

Non-Electric: $12 - $15.00
Electic Site: $19 - $25.00

You are responsible for paying for your own individual camp site.

Note on Camping Sites: We will leave instructions with the on site registration station that we might have others coming in. For the sake of anonimity we will state that we are with a group called the "WPR" and are expecting others who will want to be near us. We personally will be going with a non-electric site.

On Saturday we will erect a pole with baloons tied to it to mark where we are so people can find us.

This event is close enough to Show Low that if you can not camp you can stay at a local hotel/motel with you driving in on the weekend.

Food and Refreshments

Bring your own please. We will not feed people since we are not organizing fees or any means to make this affordable for us.

Events

If we get enough people I am sure we can arrange for some impromtu events. If you would like to provide a class or schedule a specific discussion please let us know as soon as possible.

Transportation

We will not be offering trasportation services. If you plan on flying in please ensure you schedule a rental car. If you are flying then schedule to fly into Phoenix.

Children and Pets

Both are welcome, pets must be kept leashed at all times.

Alcohol

You must be 21 or over, you may not drink to excess and you must behave yourself. Oh and you have to provide it yourself too.

Clothing

Yes you must wear clothing. This is a clothing mandatory .

Rules, Regulations the Witch/Pagan Resources Meet and Greet

  • This Meet and Greet will be clothing mandatory.
  • Drinking in MODERATION is allowed. Obnoxious drunks will be ejected from the event.
  • Everyone is responsible for their own food, tents, trash collection, pets, children, attitudes and actions.

All laws, regulations, and ordinances of the State of Arizona shall be observed for all activities conducted at the Meet and Greet.

  1. All Minors attending the Gathering must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Young children must remain in the company of their parent or a guardian at all times!
  2. Fires are only permitted in designated areas or in stoves using propane, butane, or other approved fuels. Leaving any fire unattended is prohibited! It is the responsibility of all campers to completely extinguish all fires.
  3. Parking is allowed in designated areas only.
  4. The individual is responsible for any damages (accidental or otherwise ) he/she does to the site. No cutting of live trees is allowed! No alteration to the site is allowed. Damage done to turf, shelters etc. must be repaired. Any damages arising out of the actions of an attendee are the financial responsibility of that attendee.
  5. Pets are allowed at the Meet and Greet, but their owners must clean up after them. Pets must be under the control of their owners at all times. If a pet creates a disturbance its owner will be asked to remove it from the site. If your animal is not socialized to large crowds, please do not bring them. If they are not socialized with other animals, please do not bring them. Any animals showing violent behavior will be ejected along with the owner. Any injuries caused by a vicious animal will be the responsibility of the animal’s owner.
  6. Do not burn your trash on site! Doing so is against the law, and it stinks.
  7. If you encounter any wild animals that appear unafraid, and even friendly towards humans DO NOT APPROACH THEM! Leave the area immediately! Obviously, if you come across an animal that appears vicious and is frothing at the mouth, do the same. Be aware that wild animals are not usually friendly and you are tasty with select wild herbs and seasonings.

The Witch/Pagan Resources Meet and Greet is an outdoor camping event in a forest setting. The site has amenities but for the most part is primitive. As with any outdoor activity, there are numerous potential hazards and dangers to people and property. No assurances of safety can be made! By attending, you agree that you are responsible for your own actions and welfare. You assume all risks associated with attending this event, including, but not limited to falls, the effects of the elements, weather, waterways, fire, etc., any workshops or rituals, equipment failure or misuse, damage to property, contact with vegetation, insects, wildlife, pets, and other participants, and assorted "stupid people tricks"; all such risks being known and appreciated by you. You, for yourself and anyone entitled to act on your behalf, waive and release the Witch/Pagan Resources, the owners of the Witch/Pagan Resources, Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area and the State of Arizona from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of your participation in the event known as the "Witch/Pagan Resources Gathering Meet and Greet".
